One of the most frustrating things to happen to any of us is to send a print job or receive a ten page fax or need to make fifty copies of a document only to find that the toner cartridge is empty or running out or the drum unit or fuser unit is causing a deteriorating quality of print – always, of course, when the job or is most important.

It is amazing how many times one of our team will call a client at “reminder time” only to have the response of “no. we’re fine for now”.

Then, in the next day or two the client calls back to ask “how did you know I was about to run out of toner?”

It’s noting more than taking the trouble to analyse the buying and usage patterns of our clients and caring enough to be prepared to take the trouble to call and remind you of the impending problem you have – not to be one of those nuisance callers who call to pester you into buying something you don’t need or want.

Don’t leave yourself in the situation where it is 6.30pm on Friday night and you have a most important report of client quotation to prepare and half-way through it you run out of toner, ink or other consumables and have to go the office “supermarket” where they have no idea what you need or have just run out of stock of the one laser toner or ink cartridge you need for the mission critical task at hand.
